What specifically about Economics do Conservatives understand that Liberals don’t?

Liberals and Conservatives both are Keynesian.
They both don’t know jack.
1. The best way to reduce the deficit is to cut taxes.
Yeah. And unicorns are real!
Government cannot create wealth, it can only consume it. Activities that are taxed become less common. Those that are subsidized become more common.
Liberals skip over economics and just moves on to environmental issues. Probably best.
The part about being whores of the capitalist pigs.
Basic math.
Never raise taxes in a recession and the govt cannot create wealth, it can only redistribute it.
The private sector creates wealth.
successful businesses are not the enemy, that they are in fact quite good and that the more successful they are the better they are.
also (at least for the guy below me) that not taking something from someone is not the same as giving something to someone.
It’s not what they “understand”, but what they have been told to believe, such as if we keep giving the rich more money, it will magically trickle down into the hands of those who need it.
That 100 year old economics is better than progressive economics? I mean, they are pretty much in LOVE with a 200 year old document… and most of them even more in love with a 2000+ year old document…
stuff cost money, the kind from production not the printing press

take in a buck revenue called tax collected….
spend a buck and 1/2…….you’re in debt
do it two years in a row…….
you now have a full buck deficit.
Deficits do not expand the economy
Deficits stagnate GDP
Deficits do not create jobs
Liberals. — Class over.
Both parties are economically stupid.
A lesson from the glass house ? Out going RNC chairman Steele has left the ” party ” with 1.3 million in cash AND 18 million of debt …Seems like they understand having a great time with other people’s money …
What do you think you know that Conservatives don’t know? I know Conservative ideas would work if we could only put a cap on spending and make it absolutely prohibitive to spend beyond the budget that has been laid out for the year. The budget also must be within guidelines that do not exceed what we take in, and that is the first step of where the recovery must begin.
I also think that Flat Tax with less allowances for loopholes would work, because it would give the Government a template of how much money is being taken in each year, therefore not allowing them to exceed that number expenditures. That is why NO Politician will agree to a flat tax because it will force them to become fiscally responsible.
I think conservatives are a little more in tune with the importance of incentives and consequences than liberals.
Liberals have idealistic incentives, but forget about some of the unintended consequences.
