No. More like Trickle ON ecomomics. Those at the bottom are continually pissed on. Can I say “pissed?”
Of course not, Reagan already proved that it doesn’t work.
Neither “trickle down” nor “trickle up” economics exist. Both are imaginary economic systems.
Welfare doesnt trickle up.
Trickle down economics has never worked.
Pre-Reagan the richest 1% controlled about 15% of the wealth. We were told that giving the rich more tax-breaks would benefit everybody in the form of more jobs & investment. Well, it’s been 25 years and the richest 1% now control about 60% of the wealth.
Here’s what happens when the rich get more money
* They hide it in tax shelters
* They invest it in off-shore bank accounts
* They lobby Congress to get more favorable corporate tax rates & increased corporate welfare
That money is almost never reinvested in an area which benefits the average middle-class American.
Yes because I got an education so that I can design the equipment, the products, and the plants. Also, most of the outsourcing has stopped. Most of the plant expansions overseas in China, India, and Eastern Europe are to supply these rapidly growing markets. Then again, a lot of liberals don’t have any clue on how businesses work. Also, as my skills increase the more attractive I am to other companies thus my salary will naturally increase.
Only fools believe in this free economy Free Trade mirage.
Universities and Colleges are preparing Engineers to work…where? In China? India? Oh, I see, Industrial Engineers to work a Work Flow Scheduling at Mac Donald’s…not the Aircraft Manufacturing, the hamburgers…
And then people call me fool for believing in God. These people require more faith in believing in politicians than me believing in God.
Ok, I will not be that pesimistic; maybe we can all work for Home Depot and Walmart to start.
